Blustery day at the beach

Woke up to rain this morning so headed back over towards Mahia Penninsula. We stopped at Young Nicks Head on the way hoping to be able to get down to the beach but found a salt water lagoon in our way. Out, over on the wild beach flocks of birds were wheeling and shrieking in the wind.
