Caen Hill (Sunday 4th March 2018)
I hadn't used Archie in nine days due to the big freeze and supplies were running low, so after the thaw I was able to ease my cabin fever with a tour of my regular sites and shops. Caen Hill was visited twice, once at the bottom of the flight on my outward journey and then at the café and Moorings at the top on my way back.
I didn't see the swans on either occasion although I know they were around. The canal was still partially frozen and there was a surprising amount of debris embedded in the ice. A bit of sunshine did wonders to the views and I took a number of pictures. I also got three shots from Bolland's Hill Bridge at Seend nearby but the two Extras were both taken at Caen Hill at sites that will be familiar to regular viewers.

Golden Earrings - Dong Dong Diki Diki Dong (1968)
This week's pick from Cerys Matthew's show is this silly piece that was a hit in Golden Earring's homeland of Holland. Probably best known in the UK for Radar Love but a band proficient in a wide variety of styles and whose members also played as session musicians on many other artists' records.
