Squirrel Nutkin .....

.... enjoying a hazelnut or two. The pigeons wanted to get in on the act so I tried to throw nuts where only the squirrels could get at them.

The Botanic Gardens were very quiet, unusually so .... a few hardy joggers were making the most of the empty paths but they did have to watch out for the slippy, icy patches.

Quite an extensive thaw during the night but there is still quite a lot of icy slush on some pavements and paths.
