Been off blipfoto for so long that I didn't even realise this was my first anniversary of blipping. Was visiting my friend Josh near Dijon, and went with him and his Dad to see the Gallo-Roman ruins at Alésia: fascinating history, and some very well preserved archeological remains. Saw lots of lizards flitting about and sunning themselves on rocks; this one stayed long enough for me to get a decent shot. Lizards were a fairly common sight when I lived in France, but don't think I've seen one since moving back to the UK.
