Estuary view

I ventured down to the estuary early this morning at high tide and found that almost all the estuary was full of water.  Its not often like this being a combination of the melting snow, all the rain we are having and the high tide.  

The shot had very little colour so I converted it to black and white.  On looking at the mono Monday challenge I see it is 'ugly'.  I would never describe this area as ugly but you could say the sky was 'ugly' ie a menacing sky or that this is what causes all the ugly debris to be deposited so high up on the river banks.
