Sound of Mull

As the crow flies our work site was probably about 45 miles from home. Factor in two ferry crossings (one way) single track roads and this trip can take more like three (or more) hours if you plan carelessly against the time table.

I don't say it often but the timings went like clockwork today. On the return I caught the Fishnish - Lochaline ferry with just seconds to spare. Had I missed it there was an hour wait for the next one.

This is looking along the sound of Mull towards  Lismore as the ferry approached Lochaline.
