A bit of colour

Looks as though we are going to be in for a bit of a grey and wet week weatherwise but at least it's a little milder and the snow has started to melt. I finished clearing the snow from around the car this morning so I could drive into Haddington. Still a lot of snow banked up at the sides of the road and added problem of potholes but otherwise a reasonable journey. Looked in on my mother and picked up a few messages.
Decided on this skimmia which is in a neighbour's pot as it was the only real bit of colour other than the grass that is now reappearing from its snow blanket.
A bit late in posting but the internet went down and has only just come back on.
