Why have you dragged me out here?!

Harriet was most unimpressed! To be fair, so were we! We called in at my god daughter’s farm on the way back from the rock festival. When we arrived, her hubby was having a meeting in the house, so we all had to hang around outside for half an hour.

Sav held Harriet whilst I help Louise put a coat on a little calf that was shivering.

We were happy to go in and have a cup of tea whilst planning what to do. In the end we visited some of the cattle in barns they use off the farm. They rent from Lord Cranbourne and part of the deal includes looking after a small herd of White Park cattle ( a rare breed and extra no.1).

After that, we had a freezing walk around Cranbourne ( extra no.2 ) and then went for lunch at the local garden centre.

Alice was full of beans when we got back, so whilst Lou put Harriet to bed, we went outside with Alice and Buster to let off some steam ( extras 3&4 ). All too soon it was time to head home, but not before I had one more cuddle with Harriet ( extra no.5 ).
