Spider!

We've had a lazy day today after all the travelling and orienteering of the last few days. We took a walk out into the neighbourhood and found a Post Office and an Aladdin's Cave of a local hardware store of the type becoming extinct back home. We also picked up homemade sweet potato chowder from the 'Soup Girl' for lunch which was yummy. Since the kids moved in earlier in the week the neighbours have all introduced themselves which is always a sign of a good neighbourhood I think.

This is a blip taken of the house opposite which is decked out for Halloween. Occasionally spooky music drifts thought the windows from across there and the animated characters on the lawn burst into life. Visitors to the house have to go through this giant spider with illuminated eyes! Wonderful! We brought over choccies so that the neighbourhood children can experience Cadbury's...
