Budding

Monday. It started bright but the rain arrived this afternoon and now, this evening, I can hear the rain pouring down and lashing the window. Still, I managed a walk this lunchtime, left work on time, and have had a peaceful evening.

I planted this amaryllis at the beginning of the year and it is now in full flower. It has four flowers in bloom and a second stem with more buds on it.
