Cruachan under snow

Always frustrated in my attempts to get a decent photo of Beinn Cruachan because of the lack of suitable parking places on the road from Inveraray, I found myself too far down the hill by the time we stopped the car today. The vista from further up the hill was majestic; here its diminished by the foreground.

And now I’m in Oban where there has been no snow. I’ve walked back from dinner bareheaded for the first time in over a week.. it’s not especially cold. It’s another land.
