St John's Cathedral, Valletta

The Cathedral is beautiful. (I'd like to put two pics, but I don't know how). The floors are covered in these lovely marble gravestones. The gravestone pattern is cut and then different coloured marble fits in like a mosaic jigsaw to make the picture. It's so well done you can't see any joins or seams. The picture shows what the person (Knight) did in his life.
The Cathedral was commissioned by the Grand Master of the order of St John in 1572.
