The ugly love seat is gone!!!

Today we went to North Barriere Lake to close the cabin for the winter. A certain somebody had been saving the world's ugliest loveseat for several years just in case her daughter might want it some day. Her daughter had been quite emphatic during these years that there was no way she wanted this thing. At last we had sufficient rain to allow for a big fire. I think someone will be pleased to see this photo and know she will never have to hear about this loveseat again.

It was interesting watching it burn. Obviously it had been re-covered a couple times. Ugly brown burned away to expose an ugly ziz zag pattern which in turn burned away to expose a much nicer floral pattern.
