Old Man Banksia

It was a great day to head outside for a macro today. The mist has risen and the sun was just starting to come out again after two days of rain. Just wonderful for our water tank I have to say.

I have made a collage of the glorious Banksia flower in two stages of its life. I think it’s just as beautiful in its “Old Age” as it is when it has just started to bloom. The two flowers were only a matter of inches away from each other and both standing just as proud as each other.

Thanks to Debbi Bifulco for once again hosting Tiny Tuesday for us. Can’t believe it’s coming up to our third anniversary in May. Wow, how time flies.
