An explore this morning then to the RGS in the evening. 

A fascinating lecture at the RGS about urban growth in China. Mind boggling statistics about the number of huge cities in China and the speed they are growing. 24 hour construction. Shanty towns wiped out with a months notice. Jerrybuilding. High rise flats toppling over because of lack of adequate piling. Increased disparity between wealth and poverty. Now more urban dwellers than farmers. The image of farmers in the rice paddies is dwindling. 

An hour of info packed entertainment by a terrific speaker. Then home for the last Episode of Collateral. Couldn't make head or tale of it. Well, only a little. But nice to watch.
