The robin saw me, sat up high and sang, but chose (unusually) not to come down today.

Today is the first day of my new healthy eating regime.

In the absence of anything even vaguely nice in the house to nibble (you have to look as though you're trying) I was forced (?) to bake some highly delicious flapjacky things.
The author of the recipe chose to call them 'flapjack firelighters', and I could see why. They do resemble some kind of kindling.

Tomorrow then, for the new plan? :-/

Note to self... Buy some cream crackers at least (and choose NOT to adorn them with cheese).
