Immersive Art #2

Had a good day getting on with admin and there were plans to head to the Warehouse in the evening to sort things out for my birthday dinner, then I then had an SMS from a friend asking if G & I wanted to check out the Beach Canteens in the evening. The Food Festival is on and we haven't checked it out yet, so plans changed and off we went.

The extra shows our dinner spot. G & Miriam's mum ate Polish food, I went American and Miriam had a Mexican meal. We all had a scoop of Movenpick ice cream to finish things off, and then a little walk along the jogging track.

Being adventurous ladies on an evening out, we decided to call in at La Mer again. Miriam and her mum had never seen the Dubai Canvas event and it was super to see them placing themselves in the art. We had fun, not least because it is such a magical place in the night with incredible lighting. A new must-see for when guests come for a visit.
