New Snow - and Semlor

First thing this morning, mum went to buy the Swedish Lent buns semla. Because today is Tuesday, and you’re supposed to eat them on Tuesdays. Yay! A soft cardamom bun filled with almond paste and whipped cream. They went straight into the fridge, however. Patience.

Lots of snow had fallen overnight, so our walk in the outdoor museum Gamla Linköping and the nearby forest was very snowy and super enjoyable. It was quiet and beautiful, almost like a magic forest. I had so much fun jumping rocks, soldiering on through the snow and saying hello to all my friends, including the wild boars and this moose. The only downside was that the snow was the snowbally kind that stuck to my paws. I had to have a foot bath and some blow drying when we got back, but it was so worth it.

We took the semlas along to Grandma and Grandpa and had a glorious fika with them. I got my meatball-liver pâté-shrimp cheese platter, and Heidi saved me some of her semla. Awesome!

After my afternoon walk, instead of a foot bath, I got a full bath! What? Why?? Totally unfair. I now smell of rainforest and am snoozing away after all our adventures. I’ve had my name spelled in egg, semla and chicken today! A record, I think.

The extras are of the semlor and of Heidi in the square of Gamla Linköping.
