Another family heirloom

There isn't any particular theme to the Tiny Tuesday challenge this week so after yesterday's Mono Monday entry I thought I'd make use of another family heirloom. This one also belonged to my mother and once again, could well have been handed down to her. It got quite a lot of use when I was a child and is still in use today, although I have to say it is only on very rare occasions. I'm sure it has very little value financially but has a lot of sentimental value. Any idea what it is?
