Night, night pigeon

We got home late afternoon and it was raining.This wood pigeon was asleep on the fence.It seemed quite happy even though the raindrops were falling on him.
I saw two roe deer the other side of the fence.I was waiting for them to jump over but they were disturbed by someone walking up the hill and quickly disappeared.
