Last moments with Landon

Last day in San Marcos and Carlsbad. All packed up and ready to leave by 10.00 so we went for a final walk around the canyons and subdivisions of Ranchero Carrillo ending up inevitably at Peet’s for one final coffee.

Then over to see the family for a few hours, going to pick Landon up from daycare and spending a last few moments with him as a baby. Next time we see him he’ll be walking and possibly talking.

Always a relief to hand over the hire car and get to the lounge, it’s not the most relaxing of drives in rush hour traffic from San Marcos to the airport, but it passed OK. Looking forward to the flight but always a wrench to leave, even more so now with Landon.
