Porta Vescovo

This is the big cable car out of Arabba.   We came up here with Jane  who amused herself for 20 minutes while we skied to the bottom and came back up for a coffee with her.

The weather started really nice but soon closed in and it is snowing very heavily this afternoon.  I have decided to pack up early because the visibility is poor.

There are some fantastic challenging runs here in Arabba.   Some of the reds would be classified as blacks elsewhere.  (red = intermediate,  black = difficult). We skied all the long blacks down from the top before the weather closed in.

Forecast for tomorrow is good so with some new powder it should be a fantastic day.
