Wide and Wild Wednesday
A quick visit to our local country park was rather windy and also quite sunny. There was very little activity viewable from the hide. Aswan and heron were close to each other on the island in the middle of the lake as were a few roosting cormorants. Just as I was about to call it a day, a single cormorant flew onto the island and landed on an exposed branch and started the quite common action of opening its wings to dry following a diving/fishing trip. It is one of these that is my blip for both Wide and Wild Wednesday.
