I Am Borg

What a day!

I ended up having two operations.

The third operation to create a fistula, finally appears to have worked.  There’s a noticeable difference, its buzzing, which is good news.

The second operation was to tunnel into my neck and chest to create a temporary fistula.  I have a pipe hanging from my chest now which can be connected to a dialysis machine.  I feel like a Borg.

I’m battered and bruised, it’s been a super tough day.

Tomorrow dialysis starts.
