Hopeful III

I keep using this title.  In fact it's the third time in the past year  and each time Peggy Sue's expectant face has been my blip.  Of course she was rewarded with the treat she was anticipating.  Our day was more varied in the optimism stakes.
The sanding of the previously stained and varnished doors is now complete and fortunately the weather has been good enough to let this be done outside, so that's been a big positive.
The sale, not quite so good:  a contract has been offered (very late in the day) which is going to need a great deal of negotiation before it is acceptable to us.  In addition, today's exchange of emails has left me wondering if the other side know what they're doing...
