Cases

We down to Leith Sands to see what destruction last weeks storm had caused. Only a couple of dead birds (guillemots) but quite a lot of crab debris, huge mounds of seaweed and further towards Portobello were large numbers of starfish that had been hurled up over the sea wall on to the grass.

Oh, and lots and lots of these clusters of egg cases, apparently the property of dog whelks.
