I'm not sure if this is Wexham, or Stoke Poges, but either way it's a posh bit surprisingly close to Slough.  Which is definitely not posh.  I was just wandering around killing time before an appointment.

There is a bus from Slough up to Wexham (NHS) Hospital but it goes no further; anyone in need of treatment at the private hospital, or the various businesses providing physiotherapy, nurseries (of the child-variety), garden centres or golf is obviously expected to be driving in their own vehicle.  No place for public transport or pedestrians (literally, in terms of pavement and road crossing provision).

As an NHS patient being 'contracted out' to a private provider it's a conflicting experience.  I got off the bus at one hospital and walked the mile up the road to the other.
