MONARCH CATERPILLAR

On first look it can sometimes be difficult to know which is the front end of -what is here - a rather late addition to the Monarch caterpillar fleet!
Its difficult to know if the two I found on our rather depleted swan plant will survive and perhaps be the parents of some newbies next summer. They arent the type to put an ear tag in - so we will just have to trust nature to do its thing.
