Goldcrest

Holiday backblip .... Day 6

This poor little Goldcrest flew straight into the large window of the lodge. I think it was a little stunned. It flew onto the gatepost & sat there for a few minutes gathering itself. Had to get the camera ..... much too good a chance to miss. Happily it flew off into the trees a few moments later :-)

Grey & wet so we had a trip into Bakewell ...... wandered around, then went into a lovely little cafe for ..... you've guessed it ...... traditional Bakewell tart & coffee.
