Me and Steven Segal

Back in 1977 when I first came to Japan, I studied Aikido for 3 months in Osaka. I happened to be at the dojo run by then unknown Steven Segal. In the photo he is 30 years old. I was lucky to be the one in the photo used for the newspaper article. I was even luckier someone told me about the article and I got a copy. It is now framed and on my wall at work - thus the reflection. I look so focused here. I have to admit that I learned quite a bit then and will never forget those practice sessions.
