We decided to go to the pictures.

We would take Nanny and Grampy to see the latest 'Hit' RomCom starring Imelda Staunton.

Castle Mall, in Norwich, has five floors of shops with a cinema on top.

It has two car parks. One near the cinema, one not so near.

We were forced, by weight of traffic, to use the one farthest away, which is a ghastly smelly subterranean monstrosity called Car Park 1. We found the lifts to the Mall and that was where the problems started. I would have to argue that the paucity of signage telling users where the cinema is is a major flaw.

In fact we visited many major floors, trailing the octogenarians, before getting lost and being pointed back the way we had come.

We found the lifts to the cinema, bought our tickets and watched the film, we got our parking refunded. Apart from the signage I can recommend it. Especially as Vue Norwich is £4.99 per ticket and free parking! (£3.99 on Mondays!)
