Winterberry Embroidery

I finished this during the week and I'm really pleased with it - all the materials came in craft box called Craftpod - which a woman in Bristol set up to mark the changing seasons. There were other surprise items like stamp stencils to design . Each box is a complete surprise - so you don't know what you will receive . I bought this as a one off to try .

Paul had his Art Class this morning so I had plenty of time to delve into 
some more family history. I found out the difference between a Cordwainer and an ordinary shoemaker- cordwainers prided themselves on making good quality shoes from leather. My Great Grandfather on my Dad's family was one and I'm trying to work out how he moved from a little village called Uley in Gloucestershire to Kidderminster by 1861 - presumably he received some training somewhere along the line because his father was an agricultural labourer.
