Bottoms up!

It's a true mud fest in some of the fields at the moment. These poor cows were knee deep in sludge, as they squelched their way through to get at the hay!

Cycled onto Lacock Abbey, home of the the Hogwarts and Harry Potter.
It is actually known for a more historic reason. In 1835, William Henry Fox Talbot made the earliest known surviving example of a photographic negative, a photogenic print of the oriel window in the south gallery of the Abbey.

After a wander around the fields, I then popped in to the Church of St Cyriac, which has also been used for the Harry Potter films and Pride and Prejudice.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles, lives in this area, she has a house in the next village. Her daughters wedding was held in this church in 2006. I remember it well, frantically waving as she, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry arrived by coach.
