The Long Straight Road Ahead...

Got up feeling yuck but needed to get a hold of myself because we were due to see my cousin again who is suffering from MND. Poor kid ...

It was a good visit made all the more special by the fact that her sister Julie was there. She was giving their mother a day of rest after her wall to wall nursing duties with Sharon. We laughed a lot & Sharon cried a lot but was soon laughing cos I've always made her laugh. It's now very difficult to communicate with her and you have to think of Yes / No questions that you can ask and she can answer. She is apparently getting a gadget that will help with speech & will speak for her...

We took her some flowers and gave out lots of hugs which were appreciated. Julie looked well after her big trip to New Zealand.

Carol drove there hence the selection of pictures taken from the Blip Wagon & I drove home so it was all good. Feeling sad for Shash & her immediate family but I feel a little more up-beat tonight despite everything..
