International Women's Day was celebrated in various ways today, including two lunchtime performances from a talented group of young women vocalists, pianists, violinists, percussionist and a yayli tanbur player, performing to an appreciative audience of students and teachers. The half hour programme finished with an inspirational and beautifully performed rendition of the anthem - "I will survive".
