International Women's Day....

so who else to use as a blip but my late Mum!  This is her with her Dad and probably around 1928.  She had a hard life in many ways, but was a great inspiration to me and my siblings so I honour her today for the part she played in the person I am today!

And I have added an extra photo - an extremely large 'flattie' spider in my bathroom just now!  They are harmless and eat mosquitoes but some are rather large!!!
