silver maple

Silver maple flowers and a blue sky. Cold this morning though, 16ºF but got into the 40s this afternoon.
A big branch has snapped off this maple in the recent winds. I shall have to get the tree man. It is too heavy for me to shift and some has fallen on the gate into the neighbor's field. We can't open it because he "fixed" it by stringing barbed wire across it when the post rotted out!
