Thawing Hills
It was a fine morning, it started raining in the afternoon. A fine evening, with clear skies.
I was working on the museum desk this morning. We had a school visit, and I had to dress up as a Victorian school teacher, and a mean one at it. The afternoon was spent in the office. I got my house chores done this evening, walked Sammy and now time to settle down and get Still Game on the telly.
That's most of the snow now gone, and the thaw has been on, although I hear we may be in for more this next few days. There is still patches of snow, mostly up in the hills, and on the north ridges, out of the sunshine. I took this from my garden gate, looking to East Hill. Taken from Houl Road, Scalloway.
