It's time to immerse myself in Hilary Mantel's version of the 16th century: Bring Up the Bodies. All 410 pages.

By all accounts, an outstanding winner of the Booker Prize. If it's anything like as good as Wolf Hall, it will be a tour de force. And she's already at work on the third in the trilogy.

So, Thomas Cromwell, Henry VIII et al., here I come...
