Before The Shift

Not as radically low-key as proposed by EP17. A radical exposure would have blackened out everything but the window, the woman and the lampshades, but in this case I decided to include some details in the foreground adding some depth and increasing the sense of solitude. 

(Nowadays it's hard to find somebody doing nothing. People seem to keep their minds busy at all times staring at their smartphones whenever they run into an unexpected moment of inactivity. It must be exhausting.)
