...After (Thursday 8th March 2018)

I had a largely unsuccessful shopping expedition but I did call back at the lock at Seend that I had photographed while it was being restored in January. The light was going as it was almost half past five but the work is now complete and the new gates should last a further 25 years.
They've now moved along to the next lock, just beyond the Barge Inn (seen in the Extra). There's an Open Day on Saturday when, amongst other things, one will be able to walk into the dry lock.
