I attended a very interesting lunch today with Ruth Davidson, leader of the Scottish Tories taking part in a Q&A. I got to ask her a question and a follow up (I was pleased to have the opportunity to challenge the safe answer) and also chatted to her afterwards. She comes across very well in this type of event. Can't tell you what we discussed, Chatham House rules and all that.
