"I take it you're an early riser, then?"

For some reason I found myself awake unusually early. In reality it was only about 15/20 minutes earlier than normal but it did mean I was up and ready that same 15/20 minutes earlier.

Being as I'm staying on site and with little else to do I made my way to the office for the day.

And what a busy day it was!

Myself one of the OTs and the OTTI attended a dementia awareness course which, while certainly valuable, used up a couple of extra hours in the day so late-morning and afternoon was a little extra busy.

Enjoyable though :)

Tomorrow is case conference day and I'm hoping to have a visit to neurological rehab outpatients in the afternoon. So with that in mind and after this morning's early rise I am going to attempt an early start tomorrow. Hopefully it will mean I can get a self-care assessment done before breakfasts are out (protected mealtimes, you see) and possibly see one other patient before CC. At least that is the plan!

I think I might be turning into a real OT.

Experiencing that weird only-7-working-days-left-but-almost-wish-there-was-more nearing the end of placement feeling!

Although...Edinburgh... :D
