Socialising

So it seems I messed up on my dates a bit. Yesterday’s entry was supposed to be for the 8th, and today’s for the 9th. Let’s just pretend I did it right.
Today I went for a wander alone around Friedrichshain and into Kreuzberg. I briefly stumbled upon the east side gallery. I could hardly get past the swathes of basic white girl tourists posing in front of every single graffiti mural, while their friends took photos of them on their big obnoxious cameras. They acted like they owned the sidewalk, and anyone wanting past was simply an interference to their posed photo. Pipe down Bethany. You’ll get about five likes anyway.

I then crossed the bridge into Kreuzberg and happened upon a lovely small coffee shop just off the main road. I’ve been looking to buy some half decent coffee beans since I arrived and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I also got a free coffee with the purchase of the beans, so win-win.

Later that day Anna and I met up with Lara and her workmates. We went to Brewdog and tried a ludicrous selection of specialty beer. Chocolate mud cake beer, grapefruit and blood orange beer, and a blueberry and oat beer (my personal favourite) to name a few.

I took this photo walking back to the flat. It’s a hotel car park, I think. I’m not sure. I just liked the light. I could’ve probably framed it better but I was in a rush.
