Pin Mill

First day of our coach supervision programme, held in a room at a local photographic studio at Pin Mill on the tidal River Orwell.  Wonderful black and white photos in the studio that were taken by Arthur Ransome of Swallow & Amazons fame.  It is suggested that his book, "We didn't mean to go to sea" was based around here in terms of where the children set out from.
