Doing my homework

I'm going to a Literacy Conference on Thursday where one of the speakers will be Philip Reeve.
I haven't read any of his books before, so to get a flavour, I'm reading Fever Crumb, a fantasy novel set thousands of years from now living in the ruins of London.
To help keep me on track, Claire has made me a bookmark with one of her favourite characters drawn on it. Cute.
