Ram

Some days are about as productive as ramming one’s head against a wall. Escaped the frustration of my desk to meet a motorsport colleague for lunch.

The Twig and Spoon cafe is located at a garden centre near Brands Hatch and as we left the cafe we spotted this Union Jack ram. Turns out he’s a garden cooler for beer and wine. It made us chuckle.

My friend needed cheering up as his much admired colleague, motorsport commentator Henry Hope-Frost, was tragically killed last night in a road traffic accident. The motorsport world grieves the loss of a great character who leaves behind a wife and three young children. So very sad.

Spent the rest of the afternoon making headway on a client project and planning next week’s work before DB arrived ready for a weekend in the workshop. Whisked him to the pub for wine o clock immediately.
