Crackers

I was taking mum round Sainsbury’s. She was looking for Ryvitas orJacobs and this old boy came up to her and started singing to her. “You must have been a beautiful baby...” he crooned. Mum was more confused than flattered. It turned out that the poor man had dementia, but, as I pointed out, we were in the crackers aisle.
