Homeless- Bridge of Allan

 
A familiar figure outside our local Co-op is this Romanian woman. She sits there most days, and has done for years, selling copies of The Big Issue.
 
She has very limited English and I don’t know where she lives except I think it is in a nearby town- Cumbernauld- and she does seem to have relatives there.
 
Sometimes she has a dog with her.
 
Everyone who uses the Co-op – and that is most local people- know her and she has built up a steady circle of supporters who either give her money or buy one of her magazines.
 
And she always has a friendly smile for folk she knows.
