Diversion
A late postponement of Bradford City's match against MK Dons (waterlogged pitch) meant a diversion to Horsfall Stadium where Bradford Park Avenue (green) were hosting Alfreton (red).
We won't ask why a League One side couldn't get their pitch ready for a 20,000 crowd when a National League North side two miles away could. Still, judging by the number of claret and amber scarves in the crowd, the Avenue gate was boosted by the events.
Bradford really should have won this one, but we saw the sides share six goals, all of Alfreton's being scored from outside the box. 1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2, 2-3 and 3-3 was the sequence of events, Bradford equalising in the final minutes. An entertaining game in what were pretty miserable conditions for the players.
